Who is the First Male IAS Officer of India?
Satyendranath Tagore was the first Indian to join the Indian Civil Service (ICS), now known as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), in 1863. He was an elder brother of Rabindranath Tagore and officially took office in 1864 after training, serving in the Bombay Presidency for 30 years before retiring in 1897.
